Get Parsed Document

Last updated

What this operation supports in Docparser

This retrieves the structured data Docparser extracted from a specific document -- the field values and table rows pulled out according to the rules set up for that parser.

Retrieving extracted field data

Use this once a document has finished processing to pull its parsed results into another system, such as populating an accounting tool with invoice line items.

Operational considerations

Processing isn't instant, so a document uploaded moments ago may not have parsed results available yet when you request them.

Use cases

Use cases focus on retrieving a single parsed document for targeted processing.

  1. Pull a specific document’s fields to populate a custom database record in a data store.
  2. Validate the document’s extracted values against a schema before routing to downstream systems.
  3. Attach the parsed document to a case file in a case management system.
  4. Generate a summary report from a single document’s extracted data.
