Time tracking

Last updated

MeisterTask includes built-in time tracking on individual tasks, letting someone start and stop a timer (or log time manually) without leaving the task card, and logged time rolls up so you can see totals per task, per project, or per person.

Tasks can also carry a time estimate, so logged time can be compared against the original estimate -- useful for retrospectives and future estimating -- though this is task-level time logging rather than a dedicated resource-capacity planning tool.

  • A per-task timer can be started, stopped, or logged manually without leaving the task card
  • Logged time rolls up by task, project, or person
  • Tasks can carry a time estimate to compare against actual logged time
  • This is task-level time logging, not a dedicated resource-capacity planning system
