Privacy Policy

Consultants in a Box ("we", "us") runs consultantsinabox.com and the free business analysis. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Questions: info@consultantsinabox.com.

Information we collect

• What you give us: your name, business name, email, phone number, website address, answers about your business, the costs you enter in the calculator, and any notes you write.
• What we gather about your website: publicly available information such as page titles, speed measurements, search visibility, public Google business listing details and, when you choose to connect them, the Google data described below.
• Basic usage data: standard server logs and page analytics, such as pages viewed and browser type.

How we use it

We use your information to build your analysis and proposal, produce a personal walkthrough video, email you the results, contact you about your request, and improve the service. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.

Google account data

If you choose "Connect Google", we ask for read-only access to the Google services you select, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console. We use that data only to show you your own results in your analysis and proposal and to prepare for your call with us. You can disconnect at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by emailing us, and we will delete the Google data we hold for you.

Consultants in a Box's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models, we do not sell it, and no person at Consultants in a Box reads it except to provide the service you asked for, for security, or to comply with law.

Who processes data for us

We use trusted providers to run the service: Cloudflare and ViibeStack for hosting and storage, Resend for email, Anthropic for AI-written analysis, HeyGen for video, Google APIs for speed, business listing and account data, DataForSEO for search data, and Stripe for payments. They process data only on our instructions and under their own privacy and security terms. When we use an AI model to write your analysis, we send it the information needed for that task.

How long we keep it

We keep your analysis and the information behind it for up to 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it. Payment records are kept as the law requires.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and your proposal page is only reachable through a private link. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you notice anything wrong.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop receiving emails, by writing to info@consultantsinabox.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you by email or on this page.
