Shopify stores that are fast, tidy and well connected
We help Shopify merchants with three things: building custom headless storefronts when a theme is holding the business back, speeding up the theme you already have, and getting your apps and integrations under control. Shopify keeps doing what it does well. We work on everything around it.

Three ways we help Shopify merchants
Each one has its own page with the detail: what is involved, what is realistic, and the honest trade-offs.
Headless Shopify storefronts
A custom, fast storefront on the Shopify Storefront API, while Shopify keeps running products, cart, checkout and payments.

Most merchants come to us with one of these. If several sound familiar, the free analysis will help you put them in order.
Our store feels slow, especially on phones.Start with a speed audit of your current theme. Most stores can get faster without a rebuild.Shopify speed optimization
We have outgrown our theme and keep fighting it.A headless storefront may be worth it, particularly for large catalogs and content-heavy stores.Headless Shopify storefronts
We pay for apps we barely use, and orders still get re-typed.An app audit and a few solid integrations usually save money and hours every week.Shopify apps & integrations

We have done this for a store with 3,700 products
The Porch Swing Store sells outdoor furniture. We rebuilt its storefront as a custom, fast headless site with Shopify still running the catalog, cart and checkout. Same tests, before and after:

Google Lighthouse lab tests, the engine behind PageSpeed Insights, run on the old and new storefronts. Test the live site yourself
Not every store needs a rebuild to get faster. These results came from a headless rebuild; the speed optimization page explains what is realistic on an existing theme.
What Shopify merchants typically ask us for
Illustrative examples. The right scope depends on your store, your catalog and your apps, which is what the first review is for.
Find what is weighing the store down, fix it on a copy of the theme, and show the before and after.
A custom storefront for a large catalog, with Shopify still running products, cart and checkout.
List every app, what it costs and what it loads, then remove, replace or consolidate.
Orders, payouts, fees and refunds flowing into your accounting software without re-typing.
Customers and orders in your CRM and email platform, with clean tags and segments.
Move onto Shopify from another platform, with products, customers and redirects carried across.
How we work on a Shopify store
Your live store keeps selling while we work. Nothing changes until you have seen it.
- ReviewWe look at your store, theme, apps and the numbers that matter: speed, search visibility, conversion and the manual work your team does every week.
- RecommendYou get a plain-English plan: theme work, headless or app changes, with what each costs and what we expect it to change.
- BuildWe do the work on a copy or a staging site, never on the live store, and you approve it before it goes live.
- Measure & careWe re-test after launch, report the before and after, and stay on hand for updates and new apps.
More on websites, search and automation
Shopify work rarely stands alone. These pages go deeper on the pieces around it.
Questions about Shopify help
Do you build Shopify themes or headless stores?
Both, and we will tell you which fits. Most stores are best served by a well-built, well-tuned theme. Headless makes sense when a theme is genuinely limiting you, for example with a very large catalog, heavy content or a design the theme system cannot deliver.
Will we lose Shopify checkout if we go headless?
No. With headless Shopify, shoppers still check out on Shopify's own checkout, so payments, Shop Pay, taxes, discounts and order handling keep working as they do today.
Can you make our current Shopify store faster without rebuilding it?
Usually, yes. Most slow Shopify stores are slowed down by app scripts, large images and video, web fonts and third-party tags rather than by Shopify itself. We fix those on a copy of your theme and measure the difference.
We have dozens of apps. Can you help us cut them down?
Yes. We list every app with what it does, what it costs, what it loads on the storefront and what data it touches, then recommend what to keep, replace, combine or remove, including the code apps leave behind after they are uninstalled.
Can you connect Shopify to our CRM, ERP or accounting software?
Yes. We connect Shopify to CRM, ERP and inventory, accounting, email, reviews and support tools, using a ready-made app where a good one exists and Shopify Flow, webhooks or the Admin API where it does not.
Are you a Shopify Partner or part of Shopify?
We are an independent consultancy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Shopify. We work on your store with access you grant and can remove at any time.
